Williamsport Bowman’s MD Barber shear range gives a useful task split. Its Eladio 6-inch shear is a compact right-handed cutter. Its Cato 6.5-inch shear is a right-handed 28-tooth thinner. Choose the cutting action first, then compare hand fit, length and the current offer for the actual model.
The Stephan Co’s company page lists MD Barber Supply and Williamsport Bowman in its group. Its press archive records the 2017 acquisition. Those records help identify the supply path, but they do not locate the factory of the shear in your cart.
The Eladio and Cato descriptions are seller specifications for those named models. The supplier does not list one blade grade for the whole range. Use the current MD Barber listings for the final price and stock, and ask about returns, servicing and origin for the selected pair.
Williamsport Bowman lists the Eladio 6-inch right-handed cutter as a compact option for detail and general cutting. Check its exact grip and length before ordering.
The Cato 6.5-inch right-handed thinner is listed with 28 teeth. Check the tooth pattern and desired removal before choosing it over a cutter.
The Stephan Co lists MD Barber Supply and Williamsport Bowman among its current companies, and its press archive records a 2017 MD Barber acquisition. That does not identify the factory for a selected shear.
Williamsport Bowman’s current listings show a US supplier and named models. Ask the seller for the selected pair’s origin marking if manufacturing country matters.
